When FIS contacts our credit cardholders to verify a transaction, they will do it through a text message, e-mail, or they will contact you by phone. If they are unable to speak with you, they will leave a message with a claim number and phone number to contact. If they can’t get ahold of you, they may also block your account. When you, the cardholder, call back the number given, you must give them the claim number that was in the message.

Another way to prevent your account from being blocked is to notify the credit union if you plan on using your credit card while traveling, that way we can put a travel memo on your account with the dates that you will be traveling. This is also another important reason of why we must have a current cell phone number on your account.
